In 2011, Mangalabai Bhagwat Foundation organized a unique music program presenting old hindi movie songs in Vile Parle. The original track of the song was played giving the detailed information about the journey in the making of the song. This concept was highly appreciated and applauded by the audience.
In April 2018 the Foundationorganized in Vile Parle East a Cultural Event for three days to promote the Maharashtrian culinary skills in terms of promoting Marathi food item “Misal” through Misalotsav and simultaneously presenting Maharashtra’s folk music and art and culture. Over 25,000 people who visited enjoyed the culinary and cultural experience
Maharashtra Times was the media partner and Red FM was the radio partner for the event. The event was a big hit.

Annually for five consecutive years the foundation organized ‘Nanaji Deshmukh Memorial Lecture’ in association with DeenDayal Research Institute where eminent personalities and luminaries in different fields were invited to speak.

Due to the increase in the crime rate The foundation has installed CCTV surveillance cameras in Vile Parle Eastto help assist the police in neighborhood watch. The CC TV’s were continuously being monitored by the Vile Parle Police Station.

Financial help was provided to an old age home in Maharashtra who were going through financial crises on account of the COVID – 19 pandemic.
Care packages were distributed during the 2020 Pandemic. In these very difficult times of COVID – 19 pandemic Mangalabai Bhagwat Foundation has distributed care packages of food grains and other essentials to approximately 1300 genuinely needy families in and around Vile Parle during the months of April, May and June 2020 comprising of Rice, Wheat, Tur Dal, Sugar, Salt and Oil which would last a family for about 3 to 4 weeks.

In continuation of this activity the foundation also supported 200 needy families in Panhala by distributing such care packages.
