we would like to state that Mangalabai Bhagwat Foundation and Deendayal Research Institute did a survey / research of villages around Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Digholamba, Taluka Ambejogai, District Beed and selected 5 villages around the KVK where no help had reached either from NGO’s or from the Government’s water shed management programs. Hence, these 5 villages were selected to carry out water management, conservation and improvement initiative and so far have completed.
Approximately 15 kilometers long widening and deepening of nalas / streams and thework at some of the sites is still in progress. 2000 trees have been planted in and around these 5 villages during the months of July – August 2016.
Most importantly, construction of work of 5 Gabion Bunds on Nalas at Digholamba and Kanadibadan has been completed.
